On Thursday, July 14, 2011, IFEZ signed an investment contract with KACO new energy to build an inverter manufacturing and research and development (R&D) center for solar power generation. KACO new energy is a foreign investment company owned by KACO energy GmbH of Germany and will invest KRW 18.6 billion in the Knowledge Information Industrial Complex (10-84, 9,499㎡ in Songdo-dong) in District 4 of the International City to build facilities for the manufacture, research and development of inverters for solar power generation.
