On Sunday, January 4, 2026, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) held the Opening Ceremony of Cheongna Sky Bridge (formerly the Third Link Bridge) at the bridge site. The event was organized to officially announce, together with citizens, the opening of Cheongna Sky Bridge, a key transportation infrastructure that connects Yeongjong International City and Cheongna International City and links Incheon with the Seoul Metropolitan Area. The ceremony featured a commemorative drive, a multicolored ceremonial lighting event, an illumination ceremony for the entire bridge, and a fireworks show. Cheongna Sky Bridge (Third Link Bridge) is scheduled to open to traffic along its entire length at 2:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
