On December 12, 2023, (Tuesday), IFEZ held the "2023 IGC Industry-Academic Cooperation Connect Week" event. The event was hosted by the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and was co-hosted by the IGC (Inchon Global Campus) Management Foundation, New York State University of Korea, George Mason University of Korea, Ghent University Global Campus, and the University of Utah Asia Campus, under the theme of "Global Industry-Academic Cooperation Communication Window." The first day was held in the order of a meeting of the industry-academic cooperation council, presentation of participating organizations, and networking between universities and companies. In particular, networking by fields such as bio, artificial intelligence (AI), medical and health was actively carried out, and on the second day, industry-academic cooperation groups from local universities in Incheon, including Incheon National University, Inha University, Incheon National University of Talent, and Incheon Catholic University, were invited to focus on enhancing the implementation of industry-academic cooperation through mutual benchmarking between IGC University and domestic universities.
