On Monday, October 14, 2019, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with Medicen of France to promote the development of the bio cluster and bio ecosystem. Medicen is a support organization established in 2005 to plan, implement, and support the development of the Paris regional bio cluster, and it supports about 450 biotech companies, including Sanofi. The agreement is expected to create a foundation for attracting mid-sized and venture biotech companies pursuing innovation in the European bio and medical sectors, thereby strengthening the global competitiveness of the bio cluster in Songdo International City.
