On Monday, September 30, 2019, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with Sema Sports Marketing to attract e-sports-related companies and promote the industry. Under the agreement, the two sides agreed to support the establishment of domestic and overseas e-sports-related companies and universities in Incheon, and to cooperate in organizing linked events, e-sports events, and educational programs. They also shared policies and discussed cooperation measures to revitalize the e-sports industry in the Incheon area.
